Motor Boat Covers
We have been keen motor boaters for over 25 years and have a great understanding of what makes a good cover. The fabrics and materials we use are tried and tested to cope with the harsh environments our covers are put in — with a little good maintenance our covers last for years, with one customer's set still going strong after 20 years.
All boat owners have different needs, and our aim at Advanced Covers is to meet them using our skills and knowledge to hand-craft a great cover. The industry has tried to use computers to improve productivity — fine for mass-produced covers, but you cannot beat a craftsman patterning and making a beautiful cover by hand.
With many open sports boats, the need for covers in this country is especially strong as protection from the rain and wind — with the odd sunny day to protect ourselves from too! Over 90% of our covers for sports boats are made in three or more parts, giving the ability to use the roof section as a bimini and the side curtains as a windbreak or full enclosure. Most hardtop sports boats have well-designed covers without the need for frames, but we have improved the covers on many boats to the customer's needs, including external hand-holds and grab rails.
Tonneau covers are a great, quick way to cover your cockpit, and we design and make frames in-house from highly polished 316 stainless steel.
